Breathing, stretching, experiencing peace
We will be joining together to take a moment to breathe, stretch, relax and take care of our bodies. We will then unite our hearts and minds with music and meditation and generate an uplifting energy of love, peace and connection.
Expand your experience of yoga
This is an opportunity to experience not only the well-known benefits of yoga exercises and deep relaxation but also the full richness of traditional yoga practices, including pranayama breath-work, mantra music and meditation.
Ask questions to experienced teachers
The evening will conclude with an interactive discussion on yoga philosophy, centered around the theme of “Humanity”, exploring how yoga can be a tool for inner and outer peace in the world and bring out the best in humanity.
Building Unity in Diversity
Practicing yoga together is also a chance to build and strengthen feelings of friendship, harmony and oneness in a diverse, international setting. In particular, this event aims to bring together Romanians, Ukrainians, and other ex-pats as we use the tools of yoga to experience oneness, peace and build the resiliency that can carry us through moments of stress and difficulty.
This event is organized in partnership with AMURTEL’s project “Rays of Light after the Storm, using innovative yoga-based strategies to build the resiliency and mental health of Ukrainian refugees” funded by CARE-SERA-FONPC.
* please note: the lessons will be held in English, with translation in Romanian and Ukrainian available, to facilitate the sense of unity in diversity that yoga philosophy promotes

They will then respond to written questions from the audience about humanity, health, life, personal growth, etc., each sharing their own point of view from the lens of yoga philosophy and practice so that the participants gain a variety of perspectives.
