This 2-day workshop, will give you a practical experience of implementing sociocracy. We will look at the pitfalls and common problems that occur when making collaborative decisions. We will then explore how sociocracy overcomes these issues.

About the facilitator:

Rakesh Rootsman Rak

Rakesh is an experienced ecological living designer and teacher from the UK, specialising in community resilience, permaculture, creating food forests and low maintenance food growing systems. He has worked as an advisor to several community projects in London and throughout Europe, teaching in many countries around the world.  He has also been involved in AMURT and AMURTEL humanitarian relief projects in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. Rakesh is a skilled expert in facilitating successful communities in communication, group dynamics and planning.
